@Ogeenyima@actuallybrini This right here? This proves you are better than 80% of the internet. 👍🏻 I appreciate people with a different point of view, especially when they can be civil about it. Thank you.
With full respect, that’s your opinion. None of the fans can ever say “the show intended” and have me believe them. You don’t write the show. And you are fully allowed to not like the relationship, but your first comment actively attacked the OP for their opinion. That’s what I have an issue with.
@Ogeenyima@actuallybrini “You can have your own opinion and want what you want, but I’m gonna be sure to tell you you suck”
You’re really making your point here friend… maybe rethink trying to be backhandedly supportive online and just keep to yourself and your cats.
An open letter to Tim Minear (see below)
I think the hardest part isn't letting go of a story. It's feeling like the story didn't matter. The past two years I saw people mock Tommy, mock Lou Ferrigno Jr., celebrate the breakup and attack fans who enjoyed Buck & Tommy. Yet despite all of that, I kept hoping there was still value in what this storyline meant. Because there was. For many people, Buck & Tommy represented warmth, comfort, chemistry, hope, and possibility. Whether their story is ever revisited or not, that part will always remain. Some stories stay with us 🤍

@JohnKBrown This in addition to the notion that we won’t actually get any answers about their stories anymore. They can’t talk about anything for fear of Buddie-signaling.
@smokengold You have to know when the well is dry. Like, sure those people have always wanted it, but you still have to know when there is nothing new to ask about.
@shamarhunter99 Oliver has consistently wanted to have high action stories and not feel “stuck”. You can see that in all of his interviews. He didn’t want something that is gonna define/restrict his character the rest of the show.
@Kendric71096834 I don’t think there is anything they could do that would lock out Tommy for me. I just think that Tim is gonna cave to his cult worshipers. Not giving up hope though.
@217HotPilot Do we really think that they will finally make Buck wanna settle down? Realize that he wants a long-term partner and a full life? Not just the endless “learning who I am” wheel?
I know there are a lot of Tevan fans who hate on Eddie, I’m not one. I would have loved to see Buck and Tommy together with Eddie as a mutual friend for them both. The sheer chaos they could have caused would have been storytelling gold. Sadly they decided to lean into the same stereotypes they swore they wouldn’t.
@AllWaysPsychic He had the capacity for sure. I won’t say he’s not talented… but it was a huge wasted opportunity for sure… and with really no reasonable explanation
