@super_ashton Yeah I totally agree that we've seen it with countless religious groups. However, I feel like there has to be a sense of caution when joining these groups. It kinda seems like people just blindly follow whoever can connect with them without doing some research first. #REL2121S18

This class was pretty awesome. The lectures were funny and Dan and Megan really know what they're talking about. The only thing I didn't like was the textbook, it was really dense and difficult to read. #rel2121s18

People really did just vote for Trump because they were tired of the same thing. They wanted a change in government and Trump was there telling them everything they wanted to hear. He's a businessman and he totally acted the part in this recent election #rel2121s18

It's really crazy the impact that religion has on our society as whole. It really does shape the way people not only vote but also live out their daily lives. Until this class, I honestly had no idea the role it also had on governmental agencies, such as the FBI. #REL2121S18

Looking back on my notes it's crazy that so many innocent people died, a lot of times for their religious beliefs. The need of leaders to control their people instead of leading them really led to their downfall. #rel2121s18

@lcm16_lyllie I feel that, but don't most religions want more members in order to establish themselves as a well known Church? It just seems odd to me cause I bet a lot of people decided not to join based solely on the sex aspect.
