@AveloAir after waiting on hold for 68 callers ahead of me - 4 hour and 5 minutes later, call was dropped when were next in line. Cancelled flight for “maintanence issue” and rebooked on a flight for the following night. Refund perhaps?
"If all it took to sign Edwin Díaz was three years, $69 million, and Devin Williams was signed for three years, $51 million...
For me, most people would probably agree that you take Edwin Díaz at a little more money than Devin Williams.
I find it hard to sit here right now and say that the Mets are better off going into next year with Devin Williams at a little less money on an annual basis but the same amount of term than if they just signed Edwin Díaz to that contract."
- @SteveGelbs
The Mets were fine signing Devin Williams for 3 years, $51M but could not give the best closer in baseball 3 years for $69M.
Just an awful job here by Stearns and company. No other way around it.
Unless Diaz just really didn't wanna come back to Mets, which who knows...maybe he likes the potential of winning a guaranteed ring with the Dodgers. Guess we'll find out or maybe never will?
@Delta is at it again. After my first flight was cancelled, I was told they could not accommodate my flight to NY and I would need to rebook. Was then told my flight from NY to Charlotte wouldn’t be affected. Learned this AM I was removed from the flight! No notification, nothing
@Delta does it again! After cancelling the first leg of the flight. Kicks me off my return flight without any notification and the agent confirming I would still be on it. Thank you as always!
Juan Soto in June:
.325 AVG
1.238 OPS
10 HR
18 RBI
22 R
23 BB
First player in Mets history to post such home run, runs scored, and walk numbers together in a calendar month.
Juan Soto in the month of June so far:
.367/.558/.733 (1.291 OPS) with 2 doubles, 3 home runs, 6 RBI and a 12/5 BB/K
This home run had all the swagger you could’ve hoped for. Pre-pitch, after the swing and rounding the bases
