Today we remember Jo Cox MP, who was murdered by a far-right terrorist. Jo's legacy lives on through her family, the @JoCoxFoundation and all those who have been inspired by her message:
"We have more in common than that which divides us"
We remember Jo today and every day.
7 years ago today, on 16 June 2016, Jo Cox MP was tragically murdered in her constituency of Batley and Spen while on her way to meet constituents.
Jo’s murder was a personal tragedy for all those who knew and loved her.

As Chair of the @LondonFfP, I had the honor yesterday of introducing the launch of the @Marrakesh2016 and UK Policy handbook yesterday at the @UKHouseofLords. It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce a Muslim paradigm of religious freedom, hosted by a dear friend of peace, @LordWalney, with a video message from H.E Shaykh Abdallah Bin Bayyah, alongside other illustrious speakers H.E @BishopAngaelos, @DavidBurrowesUK, Dr Mohamed Senousi, Shahien Taj, Rabbi Shoshana Gelfand, @DilwarH, and the author @EsmeLKPartridge. I look forward to working on the implementation of this important endeavor. Thank you to the wonderful team that orchestrated this launch and our supportive trustees.
My book, How to be a Patriot, is published on Thursday 25th May (and out now on Kindle). You can read the Introduction here on growing up with some identity issues to think about. Am of course interested in offers to talk about it at events, podcasts.

Lee Rigby’s son Jack is trying to raise £10,000 for a charity that helps bereaved military families. He was hoping to raise £1,000 for every year of his loss but is already smashing that target. What an amazing thing to do. Please support him if you can.
Please do share this: Jack Rigby, the 12 year old son of Lee Rigby, raising funds in his memory for the Scotty's Little Soldiers charity that supports bereaved children and young people from military families to mark the 10th anniversary of his father's death
