Here’s an analysis of the emblematic “Nearly got f#cking everything” sequence in Peaky Blinders. I’m in awe of how aware Cillian Murphy is of Tommy’s mindset and the precision behind every shift in his emotional control.
Two observations from the burlesque show:
1. Men should absolutely be worshipping the ground women walk on. Holy shit. 100% what nature intended.
2. I’m definitely at least a little bit gay.
this will be a hard one for some men to hear. if you have ever:
1. had sex with someone while they were WAY more drunk than you
2. begged and pleaded your partner for sex until they eventually gave in, and complied
3. threatened to break up, or cheat unless your partner gave in, and gave you sex, and so they complied
....you raped someone
Netflix released a documentary on Americas Next Top Model. They filmed and aired a rape. In 2026 they're still framing it as "this bitch cheated on her boyfriend". She was passed out. Didn't know sex was happening. Felt the man move inside her. Not one person even thought about intervening. Airing a rape and blaming the woman would get many views. #antm #netflix
Sometimes I can’t believe NBC Hannibal is real. Imagine the most toxic, fucked-up friends to enemies to lovers story you can. Add a stacked cast, an arthouse aesthetic, the phrase “murder husbands”, enough gore to convince u blood is beautiful & a herd of adorable puppies. 10/10
Maybe I’m too much of a European, but I honestly can’t understand how so many Americans find it perfectly natural to be shot in the head on the spot for the slightest act of disobedience toward any sort of law enforcement. You might wanna revisit that "land of the free" thing.
NYT video analysis is pretty definitive. He was out of the path of the vehicle when he fired, the tires were clearly turned to the right, and the President and others are relying on the poorest quality clip to argue he was struck by the vehicle. He wasn’t.
