Texans deserve a Senator who won’t stand in the way of progress like Ted Cruz, but instead will work across the aisle to get things done. In November, we will replace him with a Senator who is dedicated to finding common sense solutions for Texas.
High prescription drug costs are a burden for so many Texans, particularly our seniors. That’s why I took on Big Pharma. But Ted Cruz voted no. Texans deserve a Senator who will work to lower costs.
@kaitlancollins That's the maturity level you want out of someone who is going to be running the most powerful nation on Earth:
"Now that the witness has finished speaking can I go online and say mean things about her to make myself feel better?"
We have no evidence and can’t prove anything, but we know intuitively that bad shit is happening so we have to stop it before it does. Pretty much sums up the impetus for every piece of Republican legislation.
@RepMTG "Uniparty" is code for "I failed yet again".
Only 11 Republicans voted for your motion.
You call out Democrats "saving" Speaker Johnson when more Republicans voted to save him than Democrats did.
See this vote for what it was Ms. Greene. It was a vote against you.
When Greene gets booed, she says (to "the American people watching"), "This is the uniparty," by which she means there is no difference between the GOP and Democrats. This has long been an opinion within the far right, who've called them "Republicrats" or, more recently, "RINOs."
Steve Scalise made a motion to table her motion which was passed by an overwhelming majority of 359 to 43, 82%. What MTG calls "the uniparty" is actually the vast majority of Americans who are completely sick of her and her insane shit.
Marjorie Taylor Greene keeps calling Bipartisanship the "UniParty". It used to be good to vote yes on the good bills no matter what party you were. Now the nutjobs like her & Boebert thrive on creating chaos Most GOP leaders have been told not to vote for any Democratic Bills. 🤦♂️
You’ve got to share this:
Republicans want to put Medicare and Social Security on the chopping block while giving trillions in tax breaks to large corporations and the wealthiest few.

As we enjoy the flood of fresh projects across America from Democrats’ historic roads and bridges law reminder that 94% of republicans in Congress voted against it. Remember that as republicans now try to lie and steal credit.
One in four NYC households relied on the Affordable Connectivity Program, which gave low-income households up to $30 a month to help pay their internet bill.
Republicans ended it.
It’s time to actually help working families and bring back this critical program ASAP.
For thirty years I’ve heard Republicans say “It’s about legal vs illegal”. That has always been a lie.
They don’t like immigrants. Period.
Chip Roy isn’t doing anything to teach immigrants about the Constitution or freedom. He never has. He doesn’t like them. None of them do.
There are intelligent, reasoned, and rational arguments to make for and against the policy. But Republicans aren’t in that business. They are in the stupid business.
On Nov. 5th, I'm filing a motion to vacate Marjorie Taylor Greene from Congress, and the people of North Georgia are going to support it at the ballot box.
Great to meet with Justin Jones today. He is a singular force in the fight against the erosion of democracy in Tennessee. He’s worthy of all our support. @brotherjones_
Meanwhile, Chip Roy’s former chief of staff, Wade Miller, helped lead a smear campaign against @HeidiReports after she reported that Project 2025 leader Russ Vought had written that he’s “proud to work with William Wolfe on scoping out a sound Christian Nationalism.” 1/
Me: Hi, I’m Dr. Kristin Hook and I’m a scientist running for Congress here in our district against Chip Roy.
Woman at the door: Ugh. My husband calls him Chip hemorrhoid…because he’s such a pain in the ass.
