This is an ongoing road construction project in a ward in Garissa County. We have been fed lies that leaders in Northeastern are building skyscrapers in Eastleigh while neglecting their people. Despite being historically marginalized, they have decided to transform their counties by utilizing available resources effectively.
Keep in mind that Luo Nyanza & Western has received almost twice the amount allocated to the Northeastern counties. Today you can tell which leaders have been playing mind games with their people.
Almost 17 years after the introduction of devolution, Western and Luo Nyanza still have little to show in terms of infrastructure development despite receiving billions of shillings. When they are held accountable, they point fingers at Mt. Kenya, accusing the region of being entitled to development as a way of avoiding accountability.
But the question Kenyans are now asking is,,, What did Northeastern leaders do differently that leaders in Western and Nyanza cannot replicate? Most governors Shouting Tutam in Broadbased & others shouting WANTAM in Opposition have little to show in terms of development.
Going by what we saw yesterday, it seems it could take another 20 years for Homa Bay to reach where Garissa and Wajir are today. Everyone will be held accountable henceforth, shouting WANTAM, TUTAM or TAWE will not guarantee anyone direct ticket to Leadership. Ni Mbaya!!
Mwananchi ajitolee, aamke 5am, akae kwa jam mpaka afike job 7:30am. Then apige 8-5 yake. Alipe 30% tax. Alafu bado aswim akienda home while fighting for his life.
Aren't we angry enough Kenyans?
