@ScottLTowner1 @cenkuygur Even if that was true (that they purposely spread falsehoods), is that illegal? Should all media that has been proven to spread falsehoods be shut down? Who is the one to determine what is misinformation in an era of "alternative facts"? Sounds like a slippery slope to me.

This is an area I'd hope more people agreed on - both parties are bought by billionaires and their policy clearly proves that. Look who is running the government right now? @dannyowelch @cenkuygur It is called a check. If executive violates law or the constitution, it is the courts role to check that power. Denying people due process, no matter how terrible they are, is unconstitutional. There is no reason ICE can't jail them and wait to deport until proven guilty

But the answer is not for the executive branch to completely ignore the court. That is a constitutional crisis, and we completely lose the rule of law and we lose our country.

The policy is not to deny the Feds from doing their job, it is to not allocate city resources to do the Feds job for them. There are no walls at the edges of cities where ICE can't enter

If Congress passed this ridiculous law you describe ACLU would sue and a court would overturn it, because it's unconstitutional. A court ruled that this administration violated the law and that is why they can order them to not deport

In this case, the administration is deporting people without due process - that is unconstitutional. If this one judge is overreaching, then the admin can appeal, even up to SCOTUS, who can overturn

Put the suspected criminals in jail, hold a trial, and if they lose, deport.

First I wanna give my condolences to the Jones family for the loss of their father, their patriarch Quincy Jones.

In this moment I want to say that even though Quincy has left this earth he leaves a legacy and a lesson for all of us.

That legacy and lesson is LIVING.

Did you know Quincy Jones was 49 years old when he produced “Thriller” on Michael Jackson? Arguably one of the greatest accomplishments of his life and of all time was done at a middle point in his life. Think about that.

So much emphasis is put on accomplishing things at such a young age now a lot of times it leaves many people feeling like it’s too late to be great or find yourself.

It’s not. Quincy Jones should always serve as an inspiration to keep pushing to be your best and keep living life through the process But also understand that his success did not come without hard work and dedication.

That hard work and dedication for you can start today.

Living 91 years on earth is the biggest flex. Remember that when you see your elderly grandparents and parents. They’ve seen it all.

Quincy Jones LIVED and we should all be inspired by his life and legacy.

Rest in Heaven Quincy 🙏🏾🕊️♥️
