It's quite simple to resolve this stalemate at snooker. Referee calls a re-rack and the points get carried over. So in this instance, Allen would of kept his 30 odd point lead and would of been resolved way ealier. #snooker

@TAFKASB Age? A younger Robertson wouldn't have played with that amount of "respect" for the opponent. Maybe there is fear of not giving the game or opponent respect. If he was willing to lose some frames by being more attacking and accept that, he should win the match.

@Nick_Metcalfe What Davis must realise is that the likes of him, Hendry and Ronnie changed the game. They drove the improvement. Like Taylor in darts. And Tiger in golf. Its not about who is is better, its about who can break the standard at that time and Davis definitely did.
