We Christians hope & pray for an Orthodox monarch, divinely appointed to rule & defend the faith of Christ.
Our nation needs this.
Instead, we have one who defends the faith of those who persecute Christians all around the world.
Perhaps we have what we deserve.
@pmosligo @TheVivCross @SuellaBraverman 1. Even if we grant that British colonialism did more harm than good (debatable), two wrongs don't make a right.
2. The people who suffer the consequences of this invasion had no part in British colonialism.

@PommelOfReality @robert__slowik @reddit_lies@MattWalshBlog I like this take. Human beings, for whatever reason, seem inclined towards worship of something or other. For some this is God, for others it's their political ideology.
@UpdateNews724 Anyone to the right of Bernie Sanders is 'far right' to this lot. When your view of reality is that warped you can no longer be taken seriously on anything.
This goes against the European instinct against in-group preference.
Like the dodo had no instinct for predator avoidance.
The dodo was a flightless bird with no indigenous predators on the island of Mauritius.
Because of this, it discarded its fear instinct through evolution.
When explorers arrived and began hunting them, as well as bringing predators, they didn't have the instinct to avoid the newcomers or escape.
They would wander around the cooking fire even as their relatives boiled in the pot.
Westerners, largely through Christianity, the development of High Trust Societies and creation of taboos on/laws against tribal practices like cousin marriage have evolved to discard in-group preference.
This makes us vulnerable to predatory ethnic groups and nations.
Our habitat is no longer isolated and safe.
Unless we come to our senses, we will be like the dodo merrily walking up to the fire as our cousins boil in the pot.
