Understanding the Times
I believe there are at least six major worldviews to how we all interpret and think about the world and our lives. They are:
Islam
Secularism
Marxism
New Spirituality
Postmodernism
Biblical Christianity

These worldviews impact how we think about theology, philosophy, ethics, biology, psychology, sociology, law, politics, economics and history

Some people are wishy-washy and all over the map on these. They lack consistency and integrity of their belief systems(s), often based on how they feel on a certain day

Others are diehards, believing with all sincerity that their worldview should be the standard for humanity

Depending upon the strength of their convictions, it is basically impossible for individuals of different worldviews to agree upon anything really significant about life, although they may respect the goodwill of those living in different worldview buckets

One of the massive problems with X is that people of different worldviews (including me) just cannot seem to connect with others, resulting in ill will and often anger

I have some on X that I consider friends because they reflect respect toward others, although obviously not deep understanding

This is the reality of the X universe. I know where I fit into the puzzle. I am a Biblical Christian. The problem is that those living in other caves think they understand what Biblical Christianity believes -- they sometimes even take a shot at describing such -- but in the end they are locked into their own orbits

There is no way other bucket dwellers will ever convince me of the rightness of their causes. That is OK because I am not seeking a new neighborhood. I do know that I at least need to be a kinder and gentler Christian toward other cave dwellers who share the same social media stream

Yet, I will not be shy at calling people from other caves out when I think they are loonie as I am accustomed to be so labeled by them. I personally believe that the most important question for all humans must answer is who they believe Christ to be (current and future tense BTW).

I can be friends with tribe members of other caves. But I can only be in true fellowship with other Christ followers
