This photo is incredible sad and I have a personal story to recount for our health care system that we can’t seem to figure out.

My grandfather died waiting for a surgery in Sault Ste Marie. His name was Sam (Samuel).

My grandfather was a surgeon (eye).

His family were Syrian Arab Republic refugees escaping the French colonial piece and were sent to Northern Ontario by Canada Immigration (Blind River).

Their family ran a general store which paid for and sent 4 out of 5 kids to medical and dental school.

Later on in life his genetic born issue caused heart problems as he aged.

Papa Sam as we called him needed a cardiac based surgery and there was a 6 month wait in his own hospital he worked at.

Sam could have gone south.

He refused to get a surgery with private health care in the U.S. (he could have called his old classmates at UofT medical school who left Canada for higher salaries)

My father (who is a doctor) always told me he was waiting for a heart bypass as he had a bicuspid aortic valve versus tricuspid.

My grandfather Sam heart gave out while gardening in the summer on the shores of Lake Superior at his cottage (we call it camp) 1 month before his surgery.

He was only in his 70s and otherwise in great health.

Still makes me sad to this day, to think if we had more capacity he would have lived another 15 years potentially (and was still a practicing eye doctor since the North had so little doctors he kept his patients).

We need to fix our health care system, yet whenever we mention adding a two tier system (like WHO claims is the best) it’s very controversial.

MUMBAI : 62 yr old married man suffers multiple fractures. His wife also has health issues so they hire a maid. One day Man notices that his diamond ring is missing. He questions maid but also thinks maybe he misplaced. By evening, he is CHARGED OF RAPE by the maid.

There's CCTV to show that maid is happily walking out of the society but it's a "rape case" so he is immediately arrested despite having a dislocated shoulder & fractures.

Most importantly, this man's wife is also present inside the house at the time of this alleged rape even as per statement by the woman

I spoke to both husband & wife. They're so distraught. This man is an IITian, wife a principal. But age has caught up. I felt so sad talking to both of them. But they felt motivated to fight back by the end of the call

@OPP_HSD Drivers are becoming careless. Most of pick up Van drivers push you to drive more fast. They are like want to scared you. 135 is normal for them. In night times they drive dangoursly. There are other cars as well on roads which cannot stop and run like those heavy vehicles.

@AskKubeir I hv rcvd mail from IRCC to extend PGWP but my passport is not valid till 2025. I have also applied under CEC along with my spouse. So shall I apply for PGWP extension through normal process or shall apply for BOWP ? under which one my spouse be Eligible to extend WP ?
