Thanks to @RCYBC, @TrilbySmith@dylscoh etc. for naming ways our systems of care fail young people. Great recommendations -doable, achievable, affordable - to keep #youth safe & create stable futures for them. @Directions_FSGV is ready to implement.

Hey YEG - we are experiencing a brutal increase in overdoses. Please take great care of yourself and your friends. Don’t use alone. Go slow. Have someone with naloxone near by. Be aware of your tolerance level - it may be less if your use has stopped for awhile. We love you.
It’s always a great time to make a financial contribution to @VanFamServices but especially now with this matching donation. This will help @Directions_FSGV serve #youth struggling with #COVID__19 AND the #opioidcrisis.

@Directions_FSGV supports youth who are homeless, 24/7 all year.
Along with a daily meal, emergency shelter and other supports, they provides pre-employment training and offers art programs - all on top of running a detox centre, safe houses and a supportive housing program.
