My theory growing up was there was never a personality shit. Bloo acted timid and shy in the pilot so he could gain sympathy from everyone in the house then con Madame Foster for free room & board while avoiding the consequences of getting adopted. Once he got what he wanted the mask slipped. Didn’t you think it was strange how viscerally Mac’s mom wanted to kick Bloo out in the pilot? If Bloo was free loading in my apartment and mooching off of my son, I’d want him gone too.
