We just reinstated a limited juvenile curfew under a new emergency order in Washington, DC.
Here's how that impacts residents:
1. Effective tonight, 5/22, all youth under the age of 18 are subject to a 11PM citywide curfew.
2. Designated zones will be subject to an 8PM curfew as determined by the Chief of Police.
3. The curfew will extend through 6/6.
This order is an emergency tool that will address the next 15 days to preserve safety and protect peace in our community.
This event is being rescheduled. Stay tuned for updates from @DCDPR.
