@lizisamused I've formally studied philosophy, and think it's entirely sensible for people to grapple with philosophy informally and without having read anything. Most people do. That being said, most people overestimate the novelty of their ideas and don't engage with common criticisms.
@Rado9910 As far as I can honestly determine, veganism would be more environmentally taxing here on the Faroe Islands than eating locally procured meat sources, unless I subsisted almost entirely on carrots and potatoes.
@David_Kicinski This is a bit reductive but what proves science true (to the extent it's proven true at all) is largely it being able to predict the behaviour of the real world.
