Today was a very special day as we held prayers for Dr. Kizza Besigye and all the other political prisoners at Dr. Besigye's home in Kasangati. We were joined by the families of political prisoners from across the different fronts. We are very grateful to Hon. Winnie Byanyima for accepting to host us, and for her very warm reception and words of encouragement amidst the repression and grave violations of rights.
We are very grateful to Rev. Father Kabogoza and Rev. Bob Musamali for leading us in prayer and for giving us very powerful words of encouragement.
Above all, we are grateful to Dr. Kizza Besigye for sending us a message of encouragement and hope. Despite being in prison, he sent us a generous financial contribution towards the last lap of our campaigns. For this, we're very grateful.
In my communication, I appreciated the families of the political prisoners for being very resilient and for doing everything possible to keep pressuring the regime to free their people. In Unity, we shall overcome every obstacle on our path to freedom.

We have entered Bundibugyo district. Our message to the people of Obudhingiya bwa Bwamba is simple. Let us be united and drive away this exploitative regime that has denied our people a chance to thrive economically. Bundibugyo is predominantly a cocoa growing community but it is absurd that the profits do not correspond with the efforts of the farmers. We have tasked them to rally behind NUP which shall put in place policies that accommodate the local farmer to gain from their efforts.

From Bundikahungu Primary School playground, in Bundibugyo district, we have rallied the people of Obudhingiya bwa bwamba to be part of the national liberation struggle.
We have preached to them our message of freedom, charged them with the duty to protect their economic interests specifically the cocoa production sector, and also tasked them to be part of the solution to redeeming Uganda from bad governance, nepotism, and corruption. The reception has been massive and we are super grateful to them. Mwasinja kutsibu!

Delighted see more moral voices speaking out against violence and impunity - this time, esteemed elders from Acholi Sub-region. Apwoyo matek! Importantly, they reiterate our call to Mr. Byabakama (and the Electoral Commission) to take charge of the Electoral Process, which has been hijacked by the military and police, or resign!
