During these six seconds, you witnessed enough power produced to provide electricity to an average home in New York for almost FIVE MONTHS!

How can a state with one of the world's greatest sources of hydroelectric power still have some of the highest electricity prices in America?

We should nuke the filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act.

If we don’t have the votes to nuke the filibuster, we should put the SAVE America Act on the floor and debate it until it passes, requiring filibustering senators to speak and making clear that if they stop speaking, we can “call the question” and pass it with a simple majority.

If for some reason we can’t do that—and to be clear, there’s no legitimate reason why we can’t—then we should use budget reconciliation to pass it.

But not passing the SAVE America Act is not an option.

Neither is taking a lengthy recess without doing any of the above.

What happens when solar companies puncture drainage tiles inside of agricultural farmland?

Moving, flooded water all over land that’s considered to be prime agricultural land by @USDA standards.

At Excelsior Solar, the solar installers were given copies of the drainage tiles around the fields they planned to develop. They were given these drainage tile maps so they could avoid pounding the metal solar panel beams on top of the drainage tiles.

The installer ignored the maps and pounded metal beams right into the drainage tiles, destroying the water flow of fields all over the facility map.

According to rules 24.4 and 31 administered by our state’s own Department of Public Service (DPS), the solar installer should inspect destroyed farmland drainage immediately and “take care to not damage existing drainage and utility systems.”

Since the DPS/ORES does not oversee construction at ORES solar complexes, their own rulebooks are broken daily.

The solar installer never asked for expert drainage help or support from the @USDA_NRCS, and according to locals at Excelsior Solar, they have not repaired many of the smashed tiles.

How do the locals know that? The standing water, moving water through roadways and other properties (I have more videos to share), and destroyed farmland is a good indicator.
