@BritishGasHelp never known such appalling customer service in all my life. Expecting my parents to get on their hands and knees to read a meter because of a “software” issue with your smart meters….
@BritishGasHelp them being promised a new smart meter since November. Passed from pillar to post and constantly fobbed off. They’re 81 & 76 years old and have been with you for 42 years and you treat your customers absolutely appallingly….
@BritishGasHelp attempted to speak your “complaints” department today. Kept on hold for 30 minutes before being cut off. When I eventually got back through while the agent was helpful I could barely hear her due to a dog barking and children screaming in the background…

On this day in aviation history Concorde touched down at New York’s JFK for the 1st time after being banned due to noise concerns by the New York Port Authority. The aircraft subsequently passed noise level tests with flying colours & commercial flights began on November 22.
Despite being a loyal Boeing customer since 1968, Britannia looked at adding the A320 family to its fleet & in 1998 “damp leased” 3 TransAer A320s, using them on routes unable to sustain the 757/767. But the carrier decided to stick with Boeing and placed an order for 5 737-800s.
