Dear @CDC, please reinstate the mask mandate for ALL of us!
The virus infects every vulnerable, available host.
Vaccines greatly decrease our individual vulnerability.
Universal mask-wearing greatly decreases our availability to the virus.
We need to continue to do BOTH.

Columbia, South Carolina supporting the Palestinian's people struggle for self-determination and liberation! We will not stop until Palestine is liberated!
Columbia, South Carolina showed up for Palestine!! Thank you for all coming out to our protest to support the Palestinian people and denounce zionism and its settler colonial project. Big thanks to our lead organizer Suha and for our speakers and for all your energy! See photos!
Bob Caslen has a lot to be ashamed of, and this resignation is long overdue. Let's make it happen, and get a new president who actually plans to #FireAllAbusers.

Healthcare is a right!!! Kudos to union members at @UCW_SC and all those who dedicated time to this important cause. Fighting for a free Palestine also means fighting for all including workers' rights !!
This is astounding news! To all campus workers who have advocated for themselves and their coworkers, supported us, signed & shared the petition, and stood in solidarity to make this happen far sooner than it would have otherwise: from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
‼️ The @UCW_SC is one of the most important projects for promoting the interests of students, faculty and staff at @uofsc today. Please join us this Wednesday at noon by the Osborne Admin Building in solidarity with their fight for grad student health insurance ‼️
On Wednesday at noon, @UCW_SC is going to be demonstrating at Osborne to demand health insurance for graduate student workers. We stand with any and all efforts to make USC a place where we can be safe and healthy, so we encourage everyone to be there and show your support!
**Calling all UCW-SC members and supporters!**
After receiving no response to our request to meet from University of South Carolina leadership, we've decided to show up and deliver our demands to them in person thus Wednesday, April 21!
Last week, our own @wmatchin introduced a resolution to the Faculty Senate calling for the university to cover insurance premiums for all graduate workers. It passed, signaling faculty support for our campaign.

Yesterday, members of our Grad Student Committee sent a joint email with @uofscgsa to USC leadership (@Bob_Caslen @WFTate4 & Tracey Weldon) asking for a meeting to address the demands of our campaign. We hope to hear back by the end of the week.
Our priorities remain unchanged as well, President Caslen. On Friday, we made it very clear that if you really cared about doing these things, you'd #FireAllAbusers.
