Earlier this week, this individual struck a child on the way to school - severely injuring him and then fled the scene. Thanks to extensive work by our volunteers, he was apprehended this afternoon and subsequently arrested by @NYPD66Pct. #VisionZero

UPDATE: The Defendant Salvatore Fuentes has pled guilty to Burglary charges - will be sentenced to up to 7 yrs in jail. The sentence date is Jan 9, 2024.

ARREST UPDATE: The defendant has been charged with 1 count of robbery in the 1st degree and 2 counts of robbery in the 2nd degree. @BrooklynDA requested 100k cash/200k bond for each charge however the judge set it at 50k cash/100k bond per charge. Defendant remains in custody.

Today, we unveiled the latest addition to our patrol fleet. We extend our thanks to the Community Service Initiative in conjunction with @JCRCNY and @UJAfedNY for donating funds to make this vehicle possible - to be used to deter crime during our Shabbos & Yom Tov Patrol program.

Our volunteers out at 4am observed this pair vandalizing multiple properties in the area of McDonald and Foster with graffiti. @NYPD70Pct was notified, and the 2 vandals were subsequently arrested by responding officers. #CleanerStreets
