What a good match that was in terms of level actually, I'm happy for Alex that she was able to regroup and produce this level again this week
Her best match since the US Open
Alex Eala lost today to Diana Shnaider - 7-5, 6-4 - in Ningbo.
BUT. She played amazing tennis. Diana just played a tad bit better. Alex fought until the end and never gave away any point. Diana needed 7 match points to win.
Some fans will be disappointed again but for me, just as long as Alex doesn't lose to herself, it's okay. I don't think her form is back to what it was a few weeks ago, far from it. She's very much in the zone but so was her opponent.
And that's tennis. On to the next match and tournament.
🚨 BLOODBATH in Asian Markets
Over $600 BILLION has been wiped out from Asian stocks.
Here's why Asian markets are falling:
1. US stock futures drag Asian markets lower as S&P 500 futures fall -0.8% and Nasdaq futures drop -1.6%.
2. President Trump said the US is "not negotiating" with Iran, escalating geopolitical uncertainty.
3. AI and semiconductor stocks fall across Asia as concerns grow over returns on massive AI spending.
3. Rising oil prices above $100 per barrel fuel inflation fears and concerns that central banks may keep interest rates higher for longer.
Oo maraming aberya across administrations. But only under Duterte was an actual black box missing or removed. The one device that should provide evidence of what went wrong went missing or was removed
Under Duterte's DOTr there was a train car detachment that resulted in hundreds of passengers walking in the Ayala tunnel. They reported that the train's black box was missing, a strong possibility it was removed to avoid accountability

A wheelchair at the courthouse. A golf club at the driving range. Two videos of Manuel Bonoan.
The former DPWH secretary was seen arriving at the Sandiganbayan in a wheelchair in June. He was reportedly seen hitting golf balls in Quezon City after his September release from detention.
Bonoan remains an accused in a separate graft case tied to the flood control controversy.
His case unfolds against a public works scandal in which trust is already in short supply. | JM
