Revolutionize advancement in the treatment of distal thrombectomy by combining your collective clinical knowledge and passion for advancement of ischemic stroke
Distal PCA P2/P3 of a 39 year old patient, #FirstPass#TICI3 treated with #Tigertriever13 + Aspiration with recanalization in only 15 minutes after puncture.
Did you know? DMVOs cause 25% to 40% of AISs*, as published in a 2020 article on @StrokeAHA_ASA.
How are you currently treating medium to distal vessels?

Excellent #Tigertriever13 application and distal vessel recanalization at @KantonsspitalLU, of a secondary ACA (A3) occlusion.
Pt. had a carotid dissection (initial NIHSS: 7) and rtPA was started.
MCA was recanalized by one pass with Solitaire. ACA (A3) was recanalized with one pass of #Tiger13, both in combination with Sofia plus. The ACA territory could be saved, however major parts of the MCA territory infarcted. Upon discharge to rehab, the patient had 15 points NIHSS.
Dr. @AlexvHessling, head of diagnostic and interventional Neuro-Radiology, Luzern, Switzerland -Thank you for sharing your experience and this challenging stroke procedure!
Small diameter, 1.1mm distal M2 occlusion:
77 y/o female with aphasia, hemiparesis and eyes deviation was rushed to the hospital with an M2 occlusion. NIHSS 13.
TICI 3 was achieved and the NIHSS dropped to 6.
Great case Dr. Michael Findler! Rabin Medical Center, Israel.
1st #Tigertriever in Chicago at the @UChicagoMed, Neuro-Endovascular surgery program. Excellent outcome Dr. Tareq Kass-Hout!
60 y/o patient suddenly developed sever stroke symptoms due to left Superior M2 and left P2 occlusion. Both were retrieved fast & successfully by the Tiger
Great paper summarizing the effectiveness of secondary DMVO's (Distal Medium Vessel Occlusions) of the posterior circulation among 71 patients who met the inclusion criteria.

Trend towards EVT in 243 P2/3 occlusions: discharge NIHSS decrease 3.9 vs. 2.4 (EVT+BMT vs. BMT, p=0.06). Significant EVT effects if admission NIHSS 10+ and in pts. without IVT. No ICH difference. https://t.co/G24rMcsQsn @esmintsociety@ESOstroke@SNISinfo@MPeyT1@mayank_G0
