@brockpierson The **ONE** thing (this time around) it won't capture is the line of 100+ people at Babbage's, Toys R Us, Kay Bee etc.. waiting to pick up their Collector's Edition or hoping to get a regular copy on day 1 or the first two months.
I will definitely be getting a copy. =)
WOW!!! Nintendo just officially announced the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is real and is happening.
It is coming later this year to the Switch 2!
Are you going to be playing this?
@dizziedee Very much so! Both game share similar mechanics and playstyle. Language barrier was the only bottleneck at times with communication.
Their response is usually correct "It's just a game!". It's just a challenge trying to describe what it was actually like.
@dizziedee It was certainly an experience. As for regret? Not a single moment. =) So many great times to reminisce over and plenty of screenshots taken at the time (since software video recording was still becoming a thing)
A lot of real world friendships were made from the game.
@matthewhenzel@The_Top_Loader@ColonelFalcon I always liked the original (Sega Genesis) logo on the spine labels from Alex Kidd to Zoom!, rather than the added "16-bit Entertainment". That for some reason looked bloated.
@The_Top_Loader I have to go with grid. It had that original Master System appeal, along with a more colorful, and depth approach with the cover art border. That's how we got it in the states.
Then the plastic red case, followed by the full cheap cardboard eventually.
@retrofreshc That's definitely a 5-screw at first glance (clips on the top), red bullets, white Nintendo seal. Presuming... Rev B?
Case and label look authentic from the front, however the board needs a quick look over.
