@james_xond 14. Butcher’s washer upper. Thursday Friday teatime and Saturdays. Scrubbed, washed, deliveries, dressed chickens and turkeys. Made beef burgers. Once painted shop on Sundays. Mopped floors hand wringing mop in near boiling water and lots of bleach. At 16 also worked evening 1/2
@Be_Fibre yet another service drop. Haslingden Lancashire. Your website says no outages again but it’s dropped out. Second time in a couple of weeks. Anything happening about it?
@_ElliottJackson Disappointing news. I know it’s only a snapshot and no proper indicator but I enjoyed watching his pre match defensive drills. Always varied, engaging and realistic. I particularly liked how he pushed and bullied the defenders to receive the ball under pressure.
@InglemanD@scriptwren I was always expected to provide it. Photocopied at the District Education Office. Whether anyone looked at it is another question.
It seems that Alan Milburn’s report into youth unemployment recommends lowering minimum wage so employers can afford to pay them. Red tory bollocks. Perhaps a better choice is to stop 60-67 year olds taking all the work. Allow young people to get jobs and learn work ethic.
@joshpearson180@gamstjones12 It was on the cards following his last England match. He kept making excellent space to receive the ball, turn and drive in the middle of the park, and almost every time the defenders either sent it long or bypassed him wide.
