Earlier this week, members from each divisional Student-Athlete Advisory Committee were on Capitol Hill talking with legislators on the current landscape of college sports.
Employment and NIL were the main focuses of conversation between the committee members and legislators.

On Thursday, Big South SAAC Chair and National SAAC Representative Meredith Page was in Washington to testify for a legislative hearing titled “NIL Playbook: Proposal to Protect Student Athletes’ Dealmaking Rights.”
Page, a @RadfordVB student-athlete, spoke to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce alongside NCAA President Charlie Baker, Missouri Valley Conference Commissioner Jeff Jackson (former Big South Deputy Commissioner), and other @Div1SAAC student-athletes.
