An #CAPF Reform bill is really required after due deliberation by Hon’ble MPs with truly democratic & anti-feudalistic mindset, to urgently rid these Forces of following long standing ills & restore them to health:
1. Implement OGAS in them with immdt effect and disband deputations into them adversely affecting their morale & motivation for long;
2. Notify them as Indian Paramilitary Service or Internal Security Service riding them of the imposed Police tag - opening them for un-required & unwelcome deputations.
3. Mandate immdt rewriting of their Recruitment Rules with decennial cadre reviews of all ranks;
4. Being Armed Forces of the Union under Article 246 schedule vii, list -1 (central list), entry #2, re-store Old Pension Scheme to them.
5. Mandatorily open & activate within three months Ex Paramilitary Personnel Welfare Boards (EPPWB) in all districts of the country & state capitals to redress grievances of their serving & retired personnel.

Mr Vij ...without any domain knowledge, what special value in terms of professional experience do the IPS officers bring along during their deputation, for the professional enhancement of CAPFs, except that they eat away most of the top vacancies that rightfully belong to the CAPF cadre officers..?
Can you enlighten me as to why hundreds of IPS DGs/ADGs are floating around in the country..?
Ofcourse, they need to be parked somewhere.
My suggestion: Instead of eyeing the top echelons of CAPFs, please lend your voice to focus on reducing top posts in the IPS, as also, much needed police reforms.

** #End_the_Glass_Ceiling:–
Open the path for a cadre officer to reach the rank of Director General , a position currently reserved exclusively for the IPS.
** Real #OGAS Status:–
Fully implement Organized Group A Service benefits to ensure pay and promotion parity with other civil services IAS/IFS.
** #Fix_Promotion_Deadlocks:–
End the 20-year wait for a single #promotion by enforcing a time-bound "Non-Functional Financial Upgradation" #NFFU.
** #Operational_Autonomy:– Stop the "Police-centric" management of #combat forces; officers want leaders with specific #paramilitary and #border-guarding expertise.
**#Court_Compliance:–
Force the government to follow the 2025 Supreme Court mandate to "progressively reduce" outside deputation rather than codifying it into law....

CAPF officers coordinate with State police (they work beside them daily)
Intelligence agencies (they run their own intel networks)
Civil administration (every Company Cmdr handles civil-military relations)
