A global team of coral champions gathered today in the ICRI Pavilion at #COP16Colombia to levy 3 calls to action #ForCoral🪸

1⃣Parties should commit to conserve climate-resilient coral reefs to incorporate ecological integrity into achieving Target 3 and beyond of the GBF.
2⃣Parties should recognize coral reef ecological integrity as critical to climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts, and call for greater effort within UNFCCC.
3⃣Parties should recognize the diverse links between ecological integrity and human health, culture, and livelihoods.
