@AyreckK I have come to understand content better as well. I remember being super confused on what content was supposed to mean when starting this course, but I feel like we gradually learned about content and all of the strategizing that goes into it. #writ318mu
@kaitlynraab3 Grammarly is great, but looking back over it yourself is great too! I also use the Microsoft doc editor a lot to triple check my word choice and spelling. Rereading is something I tend to struggle with, so I usually have to step back for a bit before I reread. #writ318mu
@kaitlynraab3 Same! I felt like my draft was a bit choppy but I hope to fix this in my revision. Looking back over the expectations is definitely a good idea! #writ318mu
@dcv4MsvilleU Definitely! Especially for the Twitter aspect of this course, seeing others post screenshots or snippets of their projects taught me a lot about how differently we interpret the same information. Seeing information presented in new ways makes learning fun! #writ318mu
@GillsTheFish808 Yeah, I definitely enjoyed writing in a more relaxed manner. It also allows me to make my paper more personal and really reflect on this course. If the paper was overly professional it would have been difficult to honestly reflect on this semester. #writ318mu
@_HannahArnold__ I felt that! Last week was rough and it took me a bit to push through the draft, but I feel so much better having it done. It also makes the revision process so much smoother! #writ318mu
@GillsTheFish808 I feel that! I am so used to dreading having to write papers because I have to use the process English teachers have been teaching me since high school. This course was definitely eye-opening to what I can do when I work in a way that suits me. #writ318mu
I like that the learning in this course has been gradual! Many of my other courses feel like a slap across the face with a lot of info in a short amount of time. This course had us develop a strong foundation then build on it each week, which I loved! #writ318mu
I feel like this paragraph does not feel cohesive but I am not sure how to go about fixing it... Any ideas on how to make this fit together better or create a better flow? #writ318mu
I want to adjust my essay to strengthen my point about experimenting with the writing process. I mentioned the variety of assignments in this course, but I was wondering if anyone else had ideas on how to expand on this topic? #writ318mu
I like that my essay is very personal! I wanted to write specifically about my writing process and how this class has benefitted me as an individual. I feel I did this well while still keeping my paper professional for this course. #writ318mu
I wanted a strong thesis statement and ended up with "I have redefined my understanding of content and writing, experimented with writing, and learned to apply writing to my life because of this course." Does this make sense considering the paper's topic? #writ318mu
@RachaelLardani I like this description! I think of communication as a transfer of information, which we would use to convey a message. This idea applies even in animals and plants! #writ318mu
@octaviapisces_ Being able to take criticism and see others viewpoint is super important when thinking about a career! Many careers require working closely with others, so we have to work to understand each other and constructive critique each other's work. #writ318mu
@__LZW__ I feel like I have a similar process. I rely heavily on peer review, generally by my friends or roommates, to help me write in a way that everyone can understand. #writ318mu
@kgstoltz I agree! Being curious about a topic leads to researching and generally you learn something from there. I really like your comparison to working out as learning is something done over a period of time. #writ318mu
@RachaelLardani I agree! In order to learn something effectively, the desire to learn is really important. I feel like being curious about something helps guide you towards learning. #writ318mu
@__LZW__ I really like this interpretation of collaboration! I usually think of collaborating between people, but it can definitely apply to projects as well. Your photo does a great job of explaining the outcome of collaboration! #writ318mu
Understanding collaboration requires understanding people. You must be able to communicate your ideas and compromise in order to successfully collaborate. Being able to work with others on one common goal is to collaborate. #writ318mu
My writing process starts with throwing bits of information and things I know I want to say onto a paper. From there, I can organize my information and build on it. My peers critique my work and give me advice which helps me reach my final product. #writ318mu
