Plan big, complicate everything, delay endlessly. That has become the pattern in Hyderabad’s infrastructure.
H CITI flyover plans at IIIT, Khajaguda, Jubilee Hills, and Wipro Circle flyover works could have been done separately as individual flyovers and shown good progress. Instead, bundling multiple flyovers into four mega packages, complicating land acquisition and funding has delivered nothing.

RRR South alignment is unfinished after two years. The existing center-approved alignment was disturbed and then kept aside.
Future City priorities are misplaced. A master plan with basic infrastructure for companies could have come first, with radial roads and Metro added later. Instead, a radial road road work started with no supporting infra and, more importantly, no public master plan even after the global summit 🤦.
Simple solutions like a flyover and underpass from HKC to Shilpa could have eased traffic. Now they overcomplicate it by bundling it into an expressway to Banjara Hills and asking for a fresh DPR.
Metro Phase 2 and RRR North continue to face endless delays.

Big vision, weak execution, zero results. This has been the case for the past two years. Unless CM Revanth Reddy changes his approach, Hyderabad is heading for disaster, and the next elections will not forgive the Congress government
