I witnessed a hit and run accident yesterday at the Marimba/Aspindale traffic lights. The vehicle that was hit was blue and appeared to be a Toyota Aqua, but unfortunately, I did not manage to see its registration number.
The accident happened at around 6:46 PM. From the direction it was travelling, the vehicle appeared to have come from Mufakose or Kuwadzana.
The vehicle was hit by a Kombi written“Red Devil,” at the back. The kombi was heading towards Mufakose. The registration number of the kombi is AEG 5917. I have also attached a picture of the kombi.

Hi Crime Watch. This car has been parked at the 30km peg along the mbalabala zvishavane road near filabusi. It’s been three weeks now. Maybe it was stolen. I told the @PoliceZimbabwe but they haven’t done anything. May you please post my message.
That Toyota vehicle hit another car while coming out of the parking area at the corner of Harare Street and Speke Avenue at around 6pm. The driver did not stop after the accident.
The vehicle that was hit was a Honda, registration number AHN 0833. The owner of the Honda was not present at the time.
The Toyota driver who caused the accident refused to stop and drove away. The driver was a man with dreadlocks.

Hi Crime Watch. Can you please hide my ID? I bought an Arsenal jersey for £85 as a gift for someone living in Zimbabwe. I sent the parcel with DHL on 18 August 2026 and paid £48 in charging fees. VAT charges were to be paid upon collection.
After 6 days, I messaged them to ask about the status of my parcel, as it showed as on hold or in clearance when I tracked it. They replied that they had just launched an investigation and would get back to me by 28 August 2026.
On 28 August, they told me that the local customs department confirmed the parcel was on hold awaiting VAT payments. I then notified the recipient to pay the VAT, and he was told to pay US$123 for a jersey that cost £85. Despite this, he paid the amount. They said they would call him to collect the parcel after 4 or 5 days because they needed to clear it.
Today, the recipient went to check on his parcel since he hadn’t received a call. They told him to pay an additional storage fee of US$87 because the parcel should have been collected within 3 days of arrival. They weren't communicating with me; if you track it, it either shows as on hold or in clearance until I messaged them to find out what was going on.
Can you please tag the responsible authority and anyone else who knows more about these matters? Imagine paying US$123 in VAT for a T-shirt that costs £85, and on top of that, they are claiming US$87 in storage charges. I told him to leave it because it’s too much for just a T-shirt. It doesn’t make sense to me. I wish others knew about this so they wouldn’t fall into the same trap.

Hi Crime Watch. Please post for me. I am dealing with a very serious and painful situation and I need help getting answers.
Four days ago, my mother sent me a voice note informing me that my father had been attacked and seriously injured by a group of people. One of the people involved is our next-door neighbour.
My parents went to report the matter at Ruwa Central Police Station. They were told that police officers would come to the house, but no one has come to arrest or apprehend the people accused of attacking my father.
My mother has tried calling the police several times. She was told that they were busy and would come the following day, but each day passes without anything being done.
My father is badly injured and is currently unable to go to work because of his injuries. I am also currently outside the country, which makes the situation even more difficult for me and my family.
I am therefore appealing to the police and relevant authorities to clarify: Is it normal for someone to report a serious assault and for almost a week to pass without the police coming to investigate or apprehend the people accused?
We are simply asking for the matter to be taken seriously and for the appropriate authorities to assist my father and my family.

A client approached us. He bought land in 1980 a 5072 square metres in Waterfalls and build a 245 sqm house plus 80 square metre cottage.
He asked me about option available to maximum value because he felt its under utilized.
I gave him 4 options;
1. Demolish the existing house and do 8 simplex units. He will get only 2 or 3 units depends on the model
2. Retain the existing house and do 6 units. He will get 1 unit maybe plus cash
3. Demolish or retain the existing house and 8 or 6 units but do all the predevelopment works to ensure the project is bankable. Take it to the financiers. He will get more units.
4. Demolish or retain the existing house, do 6 or 8 units. Self fund it and ensure they are all his.
He smiled and said he is more inclined to option 4 because he is planning to give his 5 grandchildren each a unit as inheritance.
I just pray 🙏🏾 God will give him the next 10 months to fulfill his dream. Vazukuru ava dai vaiziva😭
