@MathiasMogge @WFP In Burundi we provide 160,000 schoolchildren in 161 schools with a hot meal every school day thanks to a WHH-WFP partnership. This meal keeps children in the education system longer, increases the success rate and eases the financial burden on parents, most of whom are vulnerable

School meal programmes can make a huge difference for students since it is often the only real meal for the day. Education with an empty stomach is not possible. The new @wfp ED Cindy McCain is reminding on it’s importance at the #UNFSS2023 in Rome.
