My next major project is personal. It was triggered by my recent trip to Kinshasa and by messages from young professionals in the DRC.
The public health work being in DRC is exceptionally important.
Some of the folks I met were
Passionate & Ready for advanced training.
But they lack support.
———————————————
So here’s what I’m doing:
➜ I’m selecting 5 scholars living or working in the DRC
➜ Each will receive free, end-to-end mentorship
➜ From choosing programs → to submitting applications → to interview prep
———————————————
This is for professionals interested in:
• Epidemiology
• Infectious Diseases
• Data Analytics
• Public Health Leadership
They will get:
🎯 Full access to our mentorship program
🎯 All masterclasses
🎯 1-on-1 support tailored to their goals
🎯 Hands-on help through every part of the application process
———————————————
Living or working in the DRC is a requirement.
Because the work being done there matters and the next generation of leaders must be equipped to carry it forward.

The misuse and overuse of antimicrobials in humans, animals and plants are the main drivers in the development of drug-resistant pathogens, which makes infections harder to treat and makes other medical procedures and treatments much riskier.
By linking humans, animals and the environment, #OneHealth can help to address the full spectrum of disease control – from prevention to detection, preparedness, response and management – and contribute to global health security.
Adopting a One Health approach is key to preventing #AntimicrobialResistance (AMR) https://t.co/hqaOeeiBvV
À maintenir dans une atmosphère stable;
Ne pas inhaler;
Ne pas approcher d'une flamme ou d'un corps incandescent;
Ne pas modifier la CONSTITUTION du produit;
Et surtout... Tenir hors de portée des enfants!
It’s #WorldAMRAwarenessWeek.
#AMR occurs when bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites no longer respond to medicines, making infections harder to treat and increasing the risk of severe illness, disease spread, and death.
#AMR is driven in large part by the misuse and overuse of antimicrobials.

Living in a rural community shouldn’t mean losing the right to quality healthcare.
The #PENPlus Regional Strategy, adopted in 2022 by the 47 Member States of the African region, aims to address the burden of severe NCDs among rural and hard-to-reach populations through decentralized, integrated outpatient services in first-level referral health facilities.
