May Allah forgive Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Madani, shower him with His boundless mercy, illuminate his grave, and raise his ranks in Jannat al-Firdaws. May Allah accept his lifelong service to Masjid Al-Haram and make every Adhan he called a continuing source of reward for him.

8 days left to closure of 2026 Hajj Fare Payment

[Senator Kashim Shettima @officialSKSM]

Following the directive of President @officialABAT for an immediate review of the 2026 Hajj fares, Vice President @KashimSM has directed the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (@nigeriahajjcom) to come up with new fares for the exercise within two days.

This, the Vice President said, has become necessary considering the continued appreciation of the naira against the dollar — a primary determinant of the pilgrimage fares.

VP @KashimSM, who handed down the President’s directive on Monday during a meeting with the management and board members of @nigeriahajjcom at the Presidential Villa, called for synergy among national and state officials, including state governors, in streamlining and adopting a new set of fares for the exercise.
He also urged prompt action by all stakeholders to ensure quick payments and timely remittances to the Central Bank of Nigeria (@cenbank) to facilitate a hitch-free exercise.

Kindly ignore the false rumors circulating that His Eminence the Sultan has declared the Shawwal crescent was not seen in Nigeria. I just spoke with members of our committee at the palace, and they are still gathering reports.

[Imran Muhammad @Imranmuhdz]

A committee under the sultan has received a positive moon sighting report in Nigeria. The sultan is expected to make an official announcement soon.

“I just had a conversation with a committee member at the palace who confirmed there is a positive sighting report, and His Eminence will issue an announcement soon. Eid Mubarak” - Sinwal
