Yesterday, Lavrov made another speech, this time - at the #UNGA, and lied about Russia's commitment to #UN Charter and its principles, and to peace.

At the same time, #Russia showered #Ukraine with missiles and drones, thus showing off its real - terrorist - face. It was one of its largest air attacks against #Kyiv and the surrounding region since 2022. It was a calculated and deliberate escalation aimed at terrorizing civilians, and a desperate attempt to mask Russia’s stagnation on the battlefield. No real gains, just destruction.

Europe must stop buying Russian gas and oil, ramp up comprehensive, all-around pressure on Russia and provide Ukraine with robust air-defense.

After today’s russian attack, four people were killed in Kyiv, including a 12-year-old girl.

In Zaporizhzhia, 22 people are reported injured.

A 12-year-old girl is among the 4 dead this morning in Kyiv after another Russian missile and drone attack on the people of Ukraine.

In Kyiv, residential buildings, healthcare facilities, and civilian infrastructure were targeted. Similar attacks were carried out in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Odesa, where civilian areas and enterprises were damaged.

Every child killed, every family torn apart is a reminder that this terror will not stop on its own. We must have the means to strike it down. Stronger air defense is not a question of charity — it is a question of survival, of justice, for all Europe. As we now see, Russians have no intention of stopping at Ukraine.

Russia is attacking NATO ally Poland with Iranian shahed drones less than a week after President Trump hosted President Nawrocki at the White House. This is an act of war, and we are grateful to NATO allies for their swift response to war criminal Putin’s continued unprovoked aggression against free and productive nations. Russian forces have struck the village of Yarova in the Donetsk region with an aerial bomb, directly targeting people who were collecting their pensions. Over 20 people have been killed.

In Donetsk region, russians killed more than 20 people — civilians who had gathered at that moment to receive their pensions. An air bomb was dropped on them.

Earlier Trump said he had a good conversation with Vladimir Putin and that Putin definitely wants peace.

This is how the headquarters of Ukraine’s government now looks after this morning's Russian attack. Our whole team works in this building daily. Fortunately, no one was injured. Russian barbarism will not halt the work of Ukraine’s government.

The walls will be repaired, they are only bricks, but the lives of our people can’t be restored. In this night’s Russian attack 4 people killed and 44 injured.

What is clear is that Russia does not want peace.

I urge the world to turn outrage over Russian crimes into concrete support for Ukraine. Not for the walls of this building, but to protect our people and communities across the country.

We need stronger air defense – more systems and more ammunition – to shield our cities and our energy system as winter approaches. We need tougher sanctions that will deprive the aggressor of oil and gas revenues, the very resources funding its terror.
