I downloaded the trial of KBar3 from @aescripts and it’s so easily configured, but I can’t create a vertical toolbar with it, only horizontal. As great as it is, the documentation is very poor.

Bought #kbar3 from @aescripts this morning. Have a few hiccups, but it’s soooo helpful. Support from the author is great and fast. MoBar was good, but not as configurable and I didn’t need most of the prebuilt scripts.

The other problems with “After Effects Shortcut Icons” is if you use their KBars it wipes out everything you’ve done. They should have exported them as .kbar files. Also, they’re all PNG files, so harder to customize yourself. Would have liked SVG files.

Bought the “After Effects Shortcut Icons” from @aescripts and I give it a 2 out of 5 stars. It’s got a few VERY useful icons in it, but most aren’t that remarkable, plus without a lot of work, you’re locked to their color scheme. #sideshowfx #aftereffects

A lot of stuff for KBar3 I had to figure out on my own because while it seems to be a great product, the tutorial and documentation for it are REALLY poor. Still, a LOT of other scripts and effects have direct support for it and overall it seems like a really great product.

I spent a half hour trying to get it vertical without luck, but it’s probably because it has a “Trial Version” banner above the buttons. It’ll probably work when I buy it. In total I spent a few hours messing with it and setting it up.

@mcclurecreative @ADT So, I found it’s easier to get a temporary VISA card, keep $5 on it. Change the billing for anything I want to cancel to that card. When the next billing cycle comes along, the payment is declined.
