@PeterDClack Funny how human nature finds change difficult, especially old people. βThose horseless carriages! That new electric light ππβ. Source:%20The%20Saturday%20Evening%20Post https://t.co/HyM3avxEJt
@LuxLon95@AlexEpstein Those solar panels and batteries are perfect for running where there is no grid power. We do it in our caravan. Can run starlink tv aircon induction.
@LuxLon95@AlexEpstein I canβt follow the logic either. I think he means wind and storage and hydro are not developed all around the world. Places also donβt have clean water or vaccinations. Very sad.
@CraigSarg73@Matt_Camenzuli Funny how they complain about solar panels coming from overseas implying parts for a power station are all made here. How long to drill and build refineries?
@Donsvess Gosh everyone is so mean to you. Lots of people were deceived by that Channel 7 spotlight show. Get people to watch ABC media watch and they will understand much better about the batteries.
@Donsvess You will be happy to know that Snowy Hydro 2 will provide 350GWh of storage. Also 2200 Mw so one project is nearly a quarter of what you think we need.
@macsween_prue@AlboMP It seems like every country is moving to electric transport so liquid fuel use will fall quickly which is good for Australia as we will not have to buy fuel from overseas. What happens then to our just finished refinery when we can buy more fuel overseas much more cheaply.
