When I went to apply for my first job in cyber, I was told by the hiring manager that I was not allowed to apply. This position was for a white male counterpart and I did not have a tech background. Neither did the preferred candidate— we had similar degrees. #ShareTheMicInCyber

We started this chapter after attending WiCyS 2019 in Pittsburgh. We came away inspired to expand this community as the first student chapter in Alabama. We now have over 100 members and can't wait to expand into the future
