Incase anyone is wondering. I do "gatekeep" metrics & "blacklist" people.
Why? Because my time is valuable. It is short. It is my time.
If I am going to sacrifice my time, it is going to be for those I support which there are A LOT more than the ones I "gatekeep" & "blacklist."
I "gatekeep" the metrics by not giving up MY time to people who I do not think deserve to hit those metrics. We all do this. You are not a horrible person for doing it. You are a person with standards that values their time.
When I "blacklist" someone, it means I will not go out of my way to support you or shout you out. To be "blacklisted."
You got to:
1. Drama farm
2. Attack my or other people's families (not just the families of people I support, EVERYONE's families)
3. Have a leftist mentality (some one does something you don't like or criticizes you, they are some for of is)
4. Stream copy-righted material outside fair-use guidelines.
5. Your only engagement with the community is to beg for CP metrics or attack other creators for attention.
6. Threaten federal law-enforcement action over words you don't like.
7. Be a vile and foul human being.
8. Wish harm on others.
My time is far more precious to me than anything else. I am not going to give it away to just anyone. The people that receive my time the most will always be God & my wife.
I do have a "tier" list of those I do give more of my time to out of the two people I listed above.
Shocking. I know. Humans have preferences & favorites.
However, my not showing up in your chat doesn't me I don't like you or you've been "blacklisted." It more than likely means I do not have the time to.
Like I said. "Blacklist" is MUCH shorter, by miles & miles, than the list of people I support.
I'd like to keep it that way.
@bennyjohnson The "go into debt if you have to" part is being misinterpreted.
The economy sucks ass. Yes.
Have more kids and figure it out.
