@RichardAngwin I would try to save his life.
I detest the man and everything he stands for. I detest his barely-articulate lies. I detest his being a predator.
But the decent thing to do is to give him a plain lesson in how a human being should behave.
BIG piece of my mind afterwards!

@PeteSamuels5@PulpLibrarian I'm reminded of my pal's Reliant Supervan, into which he had put a tuned 850cc Robin engine. The speedo indicated up to 90mph and then there was a stop. At the stop the car would still be accelerating! Oh, the double-takes we got as we overtook cars on the M62! 🤣
@PulpLibrarian The engine was a Villiers 2-stroke motorcycle engine. In some earlier Bond models you actually had to open the bonnet, put your foot inside, and use a kick-starter.
@is_glasgow I recall sitting on the banks of Strangford Lough, near Whiterock, having a picnic in a drumlin landscape, watching swans on the water as the daylight faded.
I'm trying to find the title of a science fiction story where a human undertakes an experiment to inhabit the mind of a fish.
Ring a bell with anyone?

@becimay This is why I consider Julius Caesar to be his greatest play. It is about the lack of political legitimacy, from beginning to end. An incredibly dangerous theme for late Tudor England.
@PompeySteph@RebeccaMKBull Gender criticals have called for lying to the police whenever they see a trans woman in a toilet - called for getting together and accusing her of an assault. GCs have called for the eradication of trans people from society.
Singalongs and petitions my fat foot and mustard on it!
@ScotAirAmb Definitely a Hillfoot town. It's Menstrie. 3/5 the way up the photo are the Diageo warehouses, and a bit further up to the right HMP Glenochil. We used to go past the warehouses, and sometimes past the prison, to visit my daughter, when she lived in Tullibody.
