Comments that H5N1 isn't real makes my head hurt. There are 18 different H's & 11 N's. When 2 different strains infect a host at the same time, they can get mixed up and put together an H and N that have never paired before. Its called "bird" because H5N1 1st emerged in a bird.

Since the early 1500s, when the printing press could document it, there has been what we now know to be flu pandemic on average every 8-20 years. That only happens with antigenic shift and species transmission. This isn't new.

"Safe" with regards to medication does not mean "100% without side effects or issues". Placebo has harmful effects. I've seen toxicity from water. It's about individualizing medication use, dosing, and monitoring.

I tried to get AI to write a summary of 2 books I'm reading to learn the endings. It gave me multiple INCORRECT details for both. I really don't think we're at the point where we should allow AI to prescribe anything. It would probably just make up doses.

JUST IN: H5N1 bird flu now confirmed to spread between dairy cows through milk.

Infected milk was found weeks before symptoms, and raw milk killed cats.
