@SportsPatriotUS Thank you for writing this. This is exactly how I feel and what I’ve seen. I’m an Iowa grad and a big fan of Caitlin’s. I love watching her play, but can’t stomach the rest any more.
When @ryanmwise, one of the smartest people I know, writes about the well-being of kids, Iowans should pay attention. #iaedfuture https://t.co/5URQXZ0cN1
As another long-time area superintendent “resigns,” the competition for new public school leaders heats up in the Des Moines metro. I hope the pipeline is full of strong candidates👌. #iaedfuture
I’d say my dad’s advice to “student me” still applies to “adult me”: Talk to a teacher. Thanks for the reminder that they are the best source for learning.
All of the energy at the Capitol is focused on the education savings accounts proposal, but here's 5 reasons I still can't vote for ESAs. #ialegis https://t.co/29u3GY1cNo
Welcome to the 2022-23 school year, Dragons! Tomorrow will be a great day. Here's a message from JCSD Superintendent Laura Kacer, welcoming you all back. We can't wait to see you! 💜💛
Easy to understand why @WellsFargo has faced so many lawsuits from dissatisfied & unhappy customers. Pretty sure their customer service motto is “The customer is always wrong!”
Typical @WellsFargo. I’m a 40-year customer; tried to send $100 birthday gift to daughter using @Zelle, out of my account immediately but never received on the other end. 4 months later, after many “investigations” sorry, nothing they can do! Is anyone worse at customer service?
It’s weird. I haven’t been on a school board for a while, and yet these events are still personal to me. Maybe because I felt responsible for the safety of our community’s kids for so many years. Maybe because I’m a dad & grandpa. Or maybe because it is just so horrible. #Uvalde
Through her work on National History Day and Mock Trial, two incredibly beneficial extracurricular activities, Mrs. Cline has had a positive impact on hundreds of Johnston students over the years. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition. #johnstonlearns
JHS teacher Sue Cline is this year’s Iowa nominee for the National History Day’s Teacher of the Year award. The award recognizes the best educators from across the nation. Cline has taught in Johnston for 32 years. Read more: https://t.co/CpD9QlJmmX
We are #IAPublicSchoolProud
I was raised “Public School Proud” by my dad, who was an English teacher at Franklin Jr. High, vice principal at Callanan and Meredith Middle Schools and, for 17 years, principal at Hoover High School, my alma mater.
@SarahforIowa Appreciate your efforts Sen. Garriott! @JohnstonCSD has rotated two student representatives annually on their board for the past decade. They have provided copious valuable input into topics that directly affect them and their peers. #iaedfuture#ialegis
