Really gifted students all but these were lifted up by their colleagues. #Capstone Case Challenge 2026 #Winners#DaveBrady PPM Department Chair with @DoctorDora
24 years have passed, but the memories of September 11, 2001 remain with us. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, including the brave first responders who answered the call. Today, our officers stand in remembrance at ceremonies across the county.
These hallowed grounds serve as the final resting place of soldiers from the Revolutionary War to present-day missions. Today, we honor and reflect on the Army's legacy of service and sacrifice represented at Arlington National Cemetery. #ARMY250
47 years ago, Bing Crosby, in his final Christmas special, teamed up with David Bowie in one of the most wholesome and beautiful duets of all time.
Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy.
Our next historic holiday art comes from cartoonist Clifford Berryman. In this piece, Miss Liberty places a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. Happy Veterans Day to all the brave who served our country & fought for our freedom.
Is using AI plagiarism?
In a recent webinar, Dr. Dora Kingsley Vertenten, faculty director of USC Price's Master of Public Administration Online, explored how generative AI is transforming education while challenging traditional academic integrity norms.
As AI tools like ChatGPT become common in classrooms, Dr. Vertenten emphasized the importance of ethical AI use and cited a “post-plagiarism world” where understanding intellectual property is key.
"We should be teaching a focus on: what is intellectual property and why does that matter?” she said, urging educators to help students recognize the value of their own ideas and responsible AI use.

This is no way for a government official or political candidate to conduct themselves on the sacred ground of Section 60 at Arlington. The final resting place of so many heroic Americans -- including some who died under my command -- is not a political prop.
HERE'S THE PROBLEM:
Trump is a decisive communicator but LIES.
Biden tells the TRUTH but not as clearly and assertively.
It's misinformation vs. democracy — the entire challenge of our nation in one debate. Ugh. #Debates2024
This is where I get confused.
The encampment folks at UCLA have completely vandalized Royce Hall.
What purpose does that serve? Who are you winning over by defacing property?
Couple things I want to clarify re: these protests.
1. No, I’m not going to outright condemn all of the protesters — protesting is a fundamentally American thing to do, and we all have a right to do so peacefully.
(We should all also have concerns over what’s happening in Gaza.)
2. I’m also not going to pretend like it’s OK to break into buildings and illegally occupy them.
3. Nor will I pretend like this is all a bunch of students who just happened to come together because they’re upset about what’s happening in Gaza. There’s some serious social engineering happening here, and it’s intellectually dishonest—and dangerous—to pretend like this is all organic. If you don’t believe me, look at all the non-students who are being arrested on these campuses.
4. Finally, if you are going to allow your protest to turn into outright civil disobedience, please don’t ask the internet to bring you vegan food. It makes you look silly.🤦♂️
