Not everyone is as lucky as I was and continue to be

I think this stance would hold more weight if the people with money (like Billie Eilish) put their money towards more and better sustainable and humane animal farming and meat alternatives rather than trying to scold the poor for their forced dietary choices, but that's just me

Disagree again on your first point. Factory farms could be reworked to give animals better lives at the cost of shareholder value (and fuck those guys)

@lilkrit23 By that I mean that if we were to release all of our domesticated animals, it would destroy the environment and cause extreme outbreaks of disease since there are no natural predators of those animals left to keep their numbers in check

Participating in the consumption of animals is not morally wrong. Torturing animals *is* wrong, and capitalism is the source of viewing animals as exploitable commodities

Like, obviously industrial farming is bad and has been for decades, but saying that eating animals is morally wrong just isn't true 🤷‍♂️

Also humane animal farming is 100% a real thing, mostly involving not torturing animals when they're farmed

Did a bit of research, and it turns out Billie Eilish does actually donate to charities that promote eco-friendly plant-based protein alternatives
I'm unfamiliar with celebrities not being complete shills and unfamiliar with her game lol
