This election once again exposes a harsh reality:
Bihar is not losing to politics it is losing to its own compromises.
The state needs jobs that keep its youth here.
It needs schools that build futures, not just classrooms.
It needs hospitals that heal without hesitation.
It needs governance that thinks beyond the next five years.
But on the ground, the battle is different. Survival overshadows aspiration.
And in that battle, money becomes louder than education, and short-term offers become more attractive than long-term progress.
The toughest truth?
When a society chooses temporary cash over permanent knowledge, it isn’t choosing comfort — it is surrendering its future piece by piece.
Freebies may ease hunger today, but they cannot feed ambition tomorrow.
They cannot stop a young mind from boarding a train out of the state.
They cannot build industries, careers, or dreams.
This election is not a defeat or victory for any party.
It is a mirror showing what Bihar is forced to choose, and what Bihar is slowly losing.
If this cycle continues, the silence won’t be political it will be the silent exit of an entire generation.
Bihar does not need louder speeches.
It needs courage, opportunity, and a direction that aligns with its potential — not its fear.
Bihar deserves more.
And Bihar deserves it now.

It appears that just as the Babri Masjid was once demolished, there are concerns that the Taj Mahal might face a similar fate in the distant future. Some fear that, in the centuries to come, the Taj Mahal could also be subjected to such destruction.¿

After two years of unimaginable loss and suffering for Israeli families and the people of Gaza, we should all be encouraged and relieved that an end to the conflict is within sight; that those hostages still being held will be reunited with their families; and that vital aid can start reaching those inside Gaza whose lives have been shattered. More than that, though, it now falls on Israelis and Palestinians, with the support of the U.S. and the entire world community, to begin the hard task of rebuilding Gaza – and to commit to a process that, by recognizing the common humanity and basic rights of both peoples, can achieve a lasting peace.
