To mark the opening of the Northern line Extension I've created a celebratory poster in the style of McKnight Kauffer's 1932 advert.
I've been part of the @TfL team delivering the NLE since 2018, so this a proud tribute to the efforts of all those who have worked on the project.

@greateranglia I'm going to BSE getting the 2148 from KGX to CBG, it's been delayed so I'll miss the connection which is the last of the evening 2248. Can Cambridge be made aware that onward travel is required please?
@greateranglia hi! Is it still the case that there's flexibility on Advance tickets for any of the last 3 services LST-NRW? e.g. if I bought an Advance single for the 2130 I would be able to travel without penalty on either the 2230 or the 2330? Thanks!
@greateranglia I'm aware that is usually the case but for a period there was (or is) flexibility for the last three mainline services from London to NRW as the tweeted quote above confirms. Which conductors still very recently still announce. I'm trying to establish of this rule applies now.
@greateranglia
The last train from London (KGX) to Cambridge that connects to the train to Bury has been cancelled. 2139 from KGX. Now on the 2209 due into Cambridge at 2302. Please let Cambridge know that taxis will be needed. Cheers.
@greateranglia can the 2247 Cambridge to Ipswich service be held for passengers on the train from Kings Cross, it's running 17m late and due into Cambridge at 2247.
Its the last Ipswich service of the evening.
@greateranglia I can see the train has left, very disappointing. I understood your connections policy was to always hold the last train, especially as in this case the gap is less than 10 mins.
@greateranglia the kings Cross train that connects to the last train from Cambridge to Newmarket/Bury (2247 to Ipswich) is being delayed currently due in to Cambridge at 2257 will you hold the connection given its the last service please?
@greateranglia due to the bridge strike at Thurston I trust my ticket to LST (advance via Cambridge to LST on GA) would be valid from Stowmarket as I can myself there?
@greateranglia currently on the 2100 LST to NRW stopped at Colchester. Going to Bury St Edmunds, so changing at Ipswich, will the 2221 Ipswich to Bury be held or run at all?
