I’ve been working on being patient, not forcing trades, and accepting a loss without letting it dictate my next decision. Still plenty to improve, but I’m proud of the progress. One trade, one decision at a time.
Really thankful for how my trading has been going lately. The Performance mean a lot, but seeing the work I’ve put into self-control start to show means even more. That’s been what holds me back more often than not.
8/8
My takeaway: separate the quality of the plan from the quality of the execution.
The upside objective aligned closely with my final exit. Early attempts cost $287.50; the later entry and scale-outs recovered it
A profitable evening, with entry discipline still worth reviewing
6/8
The third position made +$925.50 gross.
Subtract the first two losses:
−$182.50
−$105.00
Evening result: +$638 before fees.
Flat at 7:03 p.m. Chicago time. One winning position out of three; its dollar gain outweighed both losses.
7/8
The execution wasn’t a textbook match to the preferred setup.
My first entry was at 6:11 p.m. ET, before the 15-minute Gunship range finished forming. The recovery entry also came before the full Asia range was complete.
The levels aligned better than the entry timing.
5/8
Scaled out as price advanced:
2 at 29,464.25
1 at 29,458.25
2 at 29,501.75
1 at 29,540.25
Final 1 at 29,570.50
The last exit was just 1.50 points below the plan’s 29,572 objective.
2/8
The pre-open plan leaned toward longs targeting the prior-day high at 29,572.
The preferred setup: Gunship breaks long, then Asia confirms.
Context favored higher prices, but the plan explicitly said to wait for the break. Bias alone wasn’t an entry signal.
4/8
Third attempt: bought 5 MNQ at 29,434.75, then added 2 at 29,432.25.
Average entry: 29,434.04.
That put the position near the plan’s marked upper-quartile level at 29,435.06. Seven contracts on, with the prior-day high still the larger upside reference.
Tonight’s Ninjaview plan vs. my actual execution:
Two losing attempts, followed by a recovery trade that brought the evening to +$638 before commissions and fees.
Here’s the breakdown. 🧵
First day back from vacation. 2 very quick wins secured during the NY session.
They say you can't scalp, they say you can't use size or statistics.
Clearly you can.. Both recorded with explanation!
Captured almost 1% out of NQ today (278.75 points) live on PackTV with our guest @jdastra !!!!
Then @DailyProfilerCo captured over 300 points!!!!
Absolutely smashed this and the most dope part...we explained it all before hand.
I freaking love what we do 🤟
1/ Monday NQ recap 🧵
Pre-market faded back under the P12 high, so the morning ran as Scenario #2 from my plan: open in the upper half of P12, then break above for extended longs.
4 trades on MNQ, all long. +$542 gross for a total of $914 on the day 💰. Breakdown 👇
8/ Takeaways:
✅ Scenario #2 played right off the plan ✅ Limit entries at levels > chasing the break ✅ Scaling out at the stat targets paid ❌ Trade 2 + the instant re-entry
Net: +$542 gross. Patience paid, impulse cost me 🧠
