… between historical Jewish hierarchies. With King, the queen mother (Gebirah) and the minister (Asher Al HaBayit).
Jesus, Mary and Peter if you aren’t tracking.
Still praying for you brother. 🙏

There is also such a thing called typology where “The New Testament is concealed in the Old, and the Old Testament is revealed in the New.”
Might want to brush up on that. In this example it shows historical correlations…
@JustinRossDC@reallouiehuey They are different. In the sense Peter was not a monarch. That would be Jesus as king. Peter was the Royal Steward - Asher Al Ha-bayit (the one who is over the house). Who was given the keys to the city.
See- Isaiah 22:22
@JustinRossDC@reallouiehuey The promise of the keys is given to Peter alone!
The church of the Apostles in El-Araj (Bethsaida), has an ancient inscription referring to Peter as "Chief of the Apostles", adding significant weight to the historical discussion about Peter's leadership role as the first Pope!
@JustinRossDC@reallouiehuey Peter alone receives the keys. In Matthew 16:19, Jesus says to Peter specifically: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven." The image of the keys is drawn from Isaiah 22:15–25, where Eliakim receives "the key of the house of David" as the chief steward

But some one will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith. - James 2:18
Don’t think it could be clearer than that .
God bless you and have a blessed Divine Mercy Sunday!

and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit? - James 2:16
So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead. - James 2:17
@shadowcrewtroll@dlongenecker1 James 2:18
But some one will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith. - James 2:18
@youknowpodcasts@place_saver@ChrissieMayr Show me where he said you don’t need religion.
Anyways, everything in the bible points to Him and his church … hence religion.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.
I’ll 🙏 for you
@JesusisChristX @Thunderbuck4 Prove it. Obviously don’t know Greek or that the other Mary had those “brothers” who were actually cousins to Jesus through Clopas who was Joseph’s brother. Jesus giving Mary to John proves no other siblings because It’s a sin otherwise to not honor mother.
@GCC317@SecretFire79 Mary carried Jesus in her womb. The arc would be a direct correlation to Mary’s womb. Unless you are suggesting that the tomb was the arc containing Jesus, but that doesn’t make sense from a typology standpoint.
@GCC317@SecretFire79 Mary is the ark. The contents of the arc that the angels were guarding were the word of god, mana and Aaron’s priestly rod.
In the tomb, the angels guarded the word made flesh, the bread of life and the eternal high priest. God Bless!
