We applied the MMR decay system we made for GMs to all ranks and the same principle is applicable everywhere, so apply it everywhere.

I cannot express how AWFUL it is to play ranked not only with this matchmaking, but the fact that blizzard decided TO HIDE PLAYER RANKS SO I CANNOT TELL IF MY OTHER DPS IS DIAMOND.

Working hard on reducing matches that have players with wide skill ranges. We made a change this morning and will make one tomorrow that should reduce these occurrences. Reports have been very helpful. If you continue to see these, let us know, so we can track down their causes.

The OW matchmaking is beyond repair. Most players are inflated, including me. There would need to be hard changes for most player's rank due to inflation. Some players have surpassed "5000 SR", that shouldn't be a thing. & this isn't even talking about lower ranked players (1/2)

Wish more of the world cup trials were streamed ALGS style, where we can hear coms and start to build connections to these teams/ players

For context we made several changes to matchmaking in S3. We'll cover these and their impact(generally, really positive) in the next blog update. A byproduct of these changes was pulling gold players into GM lobbies. That's what these fixes are targeted at.
