Le VPN possono permettere di navigare in anonimo ma non è lo scopo principale. Le VPN sono uno strumento di sicurezza informatica.
A livello di sicurezza creano un muro un più (autenticazione) da abbattere per gli utenti malevoli.

L'EU sta diventando un regime a tutti gli effetti.

In ogni caso il danno non è solo a livello di privacy per gli utenti ma anche a livello aziendale e di sicurezza, anche nazionale.
Sia l'app "volontaria" e il divieto delle VPN sono un problema che porterà all'aumento di frodi, tracciamento e identificazione.

I still think it’s a completely stupid rule. I’d rather focus on the arguments than on the specific word used.

It would be better to ask for a rephrase then making MPs leave, or justify the phrase.

6. Stolen ID / identity theft
In a bar even with a fake/stolen ID you can confirm that the do not match or something is off.
With Digital ID once you get one you can use it as is trusted by default and if its stolen the issue is on the bussiness not of who implemented those laws.

How the system is going to handle a stolen ID? Dose the system if breached are capable of blocking all the IDs to prevent identity theft? Dose the government will implement new laws so everything you do online get monitor to prevent it?

The government:
"Hey scan for a post/search/wathever, if match the picture ID we stored in a surly safe enviroment not discloused you can post if not we will block your account"

With age verification it would be much easier to find targets.
With a malware or phishing campaign for an age verification bypass it will make easier the creation a DB.
They are one breach or one low wage worker away.
